It runs from October to April only, and it is the best-value evening in Dubai by a distance. Around ninety country pavilions sell what they actually make — Turkish lamps, Afghan dry fruit, Egyptian cotton — and the food stalls are the real reason to arrive hungry. Fireworks go up most nights and there is a funfair at the back for anyone who has run out of shopping patience. Weekends get genuinely crowded, so a weekday evening is worth the planning.
